You are planning to make silk brocade high heels? faints
Silk brocade…
…a touch of french calf…
…maybe some water buffalo…
…or some kangaroo…
….cushioned insole with leather sock liner…
…full leather lining…
Huh?
Sorry, I got distracted.
*happydanceofjoy*
Bring on the heels!
I love those first shoes. I can’t wait to see more!
They are made for a tall ol’ boy. 6′6″ I believe with a sz 13-14 US (45 Euro or thereabouts).
“Bring on the heels!”
Oh yeah, another ‘F’ in bootmaking comin’ right up.
Wow!
I used the toe cap to visually balance an otherwise very long foot. The toe cap breaks the length and ’shortens’ the leg…
… it appears I did a pretty good job.
Ooooooooooooo, look at that brocade….makes big eyes
And if you make high-heeled black leather boots, how can you get an F in bootmaking? Does not compute!
You know…you can click on it and view the original photo…super megapixel shiny! Brocade!
*snerk*
I joke about the ‘F’ in bootmaking, because other than the handful of school/shop orders, nothing I’ve made much resembles the traditional (loud ‘n proud! Yehaw!) cowboy boot… but then again, the instructor is always, always curious to see what I’m up to…
Enabler. You just want to see me whimpering over the far-left fabric and that red brocade. I know your Evil Ways, boyo.*grin*
As long as the instructor’s curious and you get orders, hey, it’s all good.
No, no no…
…you see, I ‘ve done about 4 shop orders (5?)… the other (I think I’m nearing 25 now…but I’ve lost count, really) boots and shoes have all been my orders or special projects.
He won’t give me shop orders anymore.
I rarely comment, but I love these posts!
Love those shoes! Very manly looking. I’m very afraid of all those heels, though.
Mom,
You shouldn’t necessarily be afraid…but then again, thanks to the fabric and a suggestion…I’ve now ’seen’ your boots. >:D
