I started on the old Argentinian saddle tree this week. This was the tree that *was* broken in about three different spots. Here the tree is, being slowly turned back into an Alien face-hugger. Honors British Lit from 1800 Survey of American Lit to 1800 (Taken at a local 4 yr campus with a professor recommended by my Lit prof.) Spanish [...] Tonight we discover the works of Victorian era poet Christina Rossetti. …es guud! I discovered today that Oklahoma State University has the exact grad degrees I am looking for. Through P.h.D. even. It would require a move (later) to Stillwater, OK (about an hour and forty minutes west)—which is not the purdiest part of Oklahoma. But hey, with a P.h.D in Lit (or Comp or Creative Writing) I [...] So, Monday marks my entrance into the first semester of an English and literature heavy semester. I’ve been going through the course material all ready (because that’s the way I geek, yo) and I’m curious: When writing, editing, or reading; how much attention do you pay to the individual sentence? I ask because I’m a tad overwhelmed [...] Back from the barn earlier than anticipated. I’m getting spooky efficient with the feedings. Morning feedings with vetting of the sick 2-year-old are down to less than an hour; evening feedings down to about 35 minutes.
